Job description

Pharmacy Administrative Assistant- Per Diem
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center
Colton, CA

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions LLC Pharmacy Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Pharmacy management and personnel to include maintaining the pharmacy office at the client site, answering phones, and assisting management with various tasks to support the pharmacy – ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, assisting with employee relations issues, etc. You will also perform other duties as required from time to time, based on site location.

Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will work 1-3 days each week between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm.

Pay Range: $23/hour based on recent experience.

About the Facility: Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 456-bed facility featuring the newest technology in the field of patient care. It is host to a 24-hour Emergency Department, Level I Trauma Center, three Family Health Centers, and the only Burn Center serving the San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Arrowhead provides both Outpatient and Inpatient Pharmacy Services. The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24/7, 365 days a year while the Outpatient Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-9:00pm and weekends and holidays from 8:00am-7:30pm. The pharmacies utilize Pyxis, EPIC, and FSI.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current California Pharmacy Technician license preferred
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using MS Word, MS Excel

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full
