Qualifications

3-4 years Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy.
1-2 years Customer service or equivalent experience preferred.
MD Pharmacy Technician licensure or registration required upon hire.
National pharmacy technician license (PTCB or ExCPT) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with providers, payors, and pharmacies to coordinate care.
Proactively tracks patient refills due, proposes orders to providers, escalates to a pharmacist, and conducts patient outreach.
Researches copay/foundation assistance options and connects patients to resources.
Tracks and renews prior authorizations and patient assistance enrollments due to expire.
Performs patient onboarding benefits investigation, order entry, and delivery coordination.
Ensures patients have resources to adhere to their medication plan.
