Job summary

BlinkRx in Missouri is seeking a Pharmacist to supervise technicians and oversee the accurate, compliant dispensing of prescriptions in a high-volume setting. The role requires active Missouri licensure and a PharmD or equivalent, with 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

This onsite, full-time position involves coordinating with the pharmacy manager, providing patient counseling, and ensuring quality across the workflow from intake to dispensing. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; mail order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager and workflow.
• Oversee data entry by staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and ensure quality of work.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and proper destruction of sensitive documentation.
• Assist the pharmacy manager in coordinating calls from major chains and independent pharmacies across the country.
• Assist with receiving, processing and transferring prescriptions, owning end-to-end transfers.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door environment; ensure accuracy of drug, dose, and labeling.
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and address issues delaying dispensing.
• Perform tasks in a safe, compliant manner consistent with policies and laws.
• Work with St Louis Pharmacy leadership and corporate teams.
