Memorial Physician Practices in Clyde, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, managing drug therapy protocols and ensuring optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have basic life support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Our 24-hour pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. How you'll contribute

• Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
• Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

What we're looking for

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), along with a pharmacy license active in North Carolina. Additional requirements include:
