Job summary

CareArc is seeking a Full Time Pharmacist to join our expanding Pharmacy Team and support safe, efficient prescription fulfillment. You will counsel patients, review orders, and participate in Medication Therapy Management to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, an active pharmacist license, and CPR certification within 30 days of employment. This role includes supervision of technicians and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Active Pharmacist License.
• CPR Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Filling prescriptions accurately in accordance with State and Federal laws.
• Provide medication counseling to patients.
• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients.
• Participate in Medication Therapy Management by reviewing patients' medications and making clinical recommendations to providers.
• Provide direct supervision to pharmacy technicians.
• Operate cash register and balance registers.
• Maintain knowledge of the 340B program, sliding fee scale, and referral prescriptions.
