Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to support professional staff in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions. You will help manage inventory, third-party receivables and ensure accuracy in cash handling and documentation.

The role involves operating the pharmacy and POS systems, supporting regulatory compliance, and assisting with MTM-related services and patient-centered care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• AS Degree or Higher preferred.
• PTCB or other national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivery of prescriptions.
• Run cash register and answer telephones as needed.
• Learn and use pharmacy management and POS systems with urgency.
• Ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Assist in initial submission and resubmission of third-party claims.
• Inventory management, ordering, receiving and cycle counts.
• Manage returns and check for outdates; locate files as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow all regulations and policies.
• Perform store clerk duties and mandatory training.
