Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Active State Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
0-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong command of the English language.
Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software.

Responsibilities

Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager.
Oversee data entry by pharmacy staff and ensure quality of work.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information and destruction of records.
Assist in fielding calls from major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies.
Assist with receiving, processing and transferring prescriptions end-to-end.
Pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume environment.
Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
