Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a licensed pharmacist to supervise technicians and support the pharmacy manager in a nationwide closed-door fulfillment operation. You will oversee data entry, protect patient confidentiality, and assist with call handling for major chains and independent pharmacies.

You will also oversee reception/processing of prescriptions, ensuring end-to-end transfer success and perform pharmacist verification to guarantee accurate drug, dose, and labeling prior to dispensing.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active State Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager and oversee data entry for prescriptions.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and proper destruction of sensitive records.
• Assist the pharmacy manager in handling calls from major chains and independent pharmacies nationwide.
• Assist staff in receiving, processing and transferring patients’ prescriptions, owning end-to-end transfer success.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment for accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling.

Responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager involved in the pharmacy workflow Oversee data entry by pharmacy staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and insure the quality of the pharmacy technicians work Ensure confidentiality of patient information and their records, and destruction of relevant documentation which contains patient information Assist the pharmacy manager in overseeing staff in fielding calls from major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies across the country Assist the pharmacy manager staff in receiving, processing and transferring patients’ prescriptions, and own the success of the transfer end-to-end Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy of drug, dose, quantity and labeling prior to dispensing

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy Active State Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy 0-3 of relevant experience Strong command of the English language Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
