Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited PharmD program with at least the first professional year completed before internship June 2027.
• Active licensure as a pharmacist intern or equivalent as required by the state Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Completion of at least one Therapeutics course (preferred).
• GPA 3.5 or higher (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provide information to customers about medications and their use.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing patient records and processing insurance claims.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacy.
• Perform other usual pharmacy duties.
• Demonstrate commitment to superior customer service and quality care.
• Maintain safe and secure workspace and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with policies and regulations set by regulatory bodies and HIPAA.
