Job summary

You will work within a coordinated care team to serve behavioral health patients, distributing medications, counseling on use, and supporting immunization efforts while maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.

You must be enrolled in a PharmD program (P1 completed by internship start), hold or be eligible for pharmacist intern licensure, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• PharmD student in good standing with first professional year completed by start date.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other practitioners.
• Provide information to patients about medications and their use.
• File patient records and process insurance claims.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by state boards.
• Perform typical pharmacy duties with accuracy and care.
• Maintain patient privacy per HIPAA standards.
• Communicate safety concerns to leadership as needed.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the pharmacy.
