Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, a Navitus-backed specialty pharmacy, is growing and seeks a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead clinical services in a fast-paced mail-order setting.

The PIC will oversee dispensing workflows, patient service, cold-chain integrity, and regulatory compliance, partnering with clinicians, reimbursement teams, and vendors to optimize patient outcomes and operations. A relocation bonus of $10k is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a licensed Pharmacist.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• 1+ year of experience as a Specialty Pharmacist (preferred).
• Familiarity with REMS, limited distribution products, and regulatory inspections (preferred).
• Lean/Six Sigma training or equivalent continuous improvement experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily specialty mail pharmacy fulfillment operations, including dispensing, verification, shipping, and cold-chain handling.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, accreditation standards, HIPAA, and SOPs.
• Manage staff scheduling, coaching, and performance for pharmacists and technicians.
• Drive quality and safety programs, CAPA, and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee inventory, REMS programs, hazardous drugs handling, and regulatory readiness.
