The Kroger Co. in Colorado is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service, administer immunizations, dispense medications, and ensure accuracy and safety in all prescriptions.

You will work with a pharmacy team to uphold Kroger’s core values and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, preventing drug interactions, and supporting promotional campaigns while maintaining HIPAA and DEA compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel independently.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and applicable laws.
• Review prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients.
• Verify new medication against existing medication and patient profile to prevent interactions.
• Supervise and verify the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
• Support promotions in consultation with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and other regulatory requirements.
