Job summary

King Soopers is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide customer service and oversee retail pharmacy operations in Colorado. You will administer immunizations, dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy and safety, and supervise technicians to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail, with adherence to HIPAA and DEA guidelines, and a commitment to community health and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and valid licensure.
• Excellent communication, planning, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment and maintain a safe, clean store.
• Administer immunizations following Kroger procedures and state regulations.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and verify accuracy.
• Review prescriptions and ensure correct formulas, ingredients and potential drug interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns to ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Support promotions and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations and safety protocols.
