Job summary

Based in Colorado, City Market joined The Kroger Co. in 1983. The Kroger family operates 34 stores across Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, delivering community-focused service and quality products.

The Pharmacist will provide exceptional patient care, dispense medications, administer immunizations, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and optimal customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel independently.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer immunizations following Kroger standing orders.
• Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions and laws.
• Compound medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles for interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy.
• Support promotions in consultation with Pharmacy Manager.
• Maintain safety and quality assurance for controlled substances.
