Job summary

Kroger Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to fulfill prescription needs with precision, provide patient counseling, and ensure HIPAA compliance. You will maintain a professional image and a clean, organized pharmacy while meeting regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities include inventory control, record keeping for controlled substances, proper equipment operation, and maintaining compliance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a retail pharmacy environment.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Second language skills (reading/writing/speaking) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with all laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, records, and security.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and compliance.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and functional.
• Follow procedures for pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Establish and maintain all required signages and policy manuals.
