Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will help manage operations, ensure safe dispensing, and coach staff in patient care activities, including immunizations, while traveling between stores.

The role requires licensure in the state, an active NPI, and willingness to travel. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to uphold CVS standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by supporting patient care and safe dispensing.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and serving as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Overseeing safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Maintaining inventory, including cold chain products, across stores in the district.
• Supporting immunizations and expanding clinical care within regulatory bounds.
• Ensuring compliance with state/federal laws and CVS policies.
