Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and help maintain safe dispensing and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Cover pharmacist shifts and supervise during bench shifts as proxy to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
• Coach and supervise Pharmacy Technicians to dispense accurately and immunize where permissible.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through compassionate care and teamwork.
• Maintain inventory practices, including cold chain integrity, across district pharmacies.
