Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district. You will support pharmacy teams, oversee operations, and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will travel to stores, act as a Pharmacy Manager proxy during bench shifts, and participate in immunization and clinical care activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager's duties when on duty as the primary pharmacist.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences and coaching the team to provide compassionate care.
