Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores, under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will travel within the district to ensure coverage, support safe dispensing, and assist in immunization services, inventory handling, and patient care.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the store's state, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusion lists.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager by performing day-to-day duties when needed.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and clear communication.
• Support immunizations and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team.
