Job summary

Omnicare is expanding as an independent organization. This full-time role in Macon, GA supports facility-based clinical pharmacy services, completing MRRs and regulatory reviews during daytime hours.

Expect 40 hours per week with possible weekend/overnight travel, while driving program adoption and customer engagement. The incumbent will partner with nursing leadership, medical directors, and administrators to ensure compliant, high-quality clinical reviews and reporting for long-term care

Qualifications

• Residency in Macon, GA or surrounding area.
• Active Georgia pharmacist license in good standing.
• 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience; 1 year of LTC experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.
• Geriatrics/gerontology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities remain compliant with federal regulations.
• Complete clinical reviews as required by regulations.
• Own issue resolution and communicate early warning signs of issues.
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and services.
• Promote growth through existing relationships and new business.
• Conduct Executive Reviews and customer meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Operations and corporate functions to meet site goals.
• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and document reports.
• Use MDS 3.0 health assessments to identify residents needing targeted focus.
• Complete consultant pharmacist reports and summaries monthly.
• Educate facility staff on new programs and required functions.
