Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. The Pharmacist will verify and dispense compounded prescriptions, review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness, and ensure compliance with USP 795/797/800 and state board regulations. Daily responsibilities include overseeing sterile and non‑sterile compounding processes, checking technician work, maintaining documentation, and participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities. The Pharmacist will counsel client partners as needed on therapy considerations, collaborate with prescribers and operations staff, and support inventory management and proper handling of hazardous medications. The role also involves contributing to standard operating procedures, participating in audits, and maintaining a safe, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Nevada (and eligibility for licensure in additional states as needed).
• Experience or training in sterile, non‑sterile, and hazardous compounding, with strong knowledge of USP 795/797/800 standards a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to verify prescriptions, perform clinical checks, and ensure accurate dispensing in a high-compliance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills for maintaining records, logs, and quality assurance reports.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with prescribers, telehealth partners, technicians, and support staff.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, compounding software, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety protocols, and handle hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution; prior experience in compounding or institutional pharmacy is preferred.
