Job summary

Robert Jacobson Surgical Pharmacy I in New York seeks an experienced Pharmacist to join our team. You will prepare, compound, dispense, and sell prescriptions and Pharmacy-related products, while upholding pharmaceutical best practices.

The ideal candidate holds a current state pharmacist license, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, and can learn and adhere to regulations. Prior compounding experience is a plus. We offer growth opportunities and a patient-centered work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions.
• Preparing, compounding, dispensing, and selling prescriptions and Pharmacy-related products.
• Following proper Pharmacy and regulatory safety procedures and standards.
• Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files.
• Monitoring storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals.
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
