Job summary

Black Forest Supplements seeks a licensed pharmacist to lead its compounding operations across multiple states, accountable for standards, records and professional sign-off. You will maintain licensing, ensure USP-compliant procedures, and serve as the liaison with boards of pharmacy.

This is a full-time role requiring strong regulatory discipline and multi-state readiness. Must have active licenses in Florida, Texas and California, with experience in compounding and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with licensure in multiple states.
• Active pharmacist licenses in Texas and California.
• Compounding pharmacy experience and readiness to be the operation's named license holder.
• Fluency with compounding and dispensing standards and documentation.
• Sound judgment under regulation and adherence to boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (or support the PIC) for the compounding pharmacy, and keep it inspection-ready.
• Own multi-state compliance: maintain licensure and non-resident registrations across the states we ship to, and keep them current.
• Uphold compounding standards: USP standards, recordkeeping, beyond-use dating, quality and documentation.
• Review and verify: prescriptions, formulations and dispensing, with the final professional sign-off.
• Work with operations and leadership so the pharmacy grows in step with what is licensed, not ahead of it.

We are building the pharmacy side of the business, and we need a licensed pharmacist who can stand behind it across state lines. This is a role where compliance is the product, not the paperwork around it.

THE ROLE

You are the licensed pharmacist accountable for our compounding operation and the states it serves. You own the standards, the records and the calls that only a pharmacist can make, and you are the person a board of pharmacy talks to when they have a question.

This is a regulated, detail-first role. The reason it exists is to let the company grow its compounded offering without ever getting ahead of what is licensed, documented and defensible.

What you will be doing

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active pharmacist licenses in Texas and California.
• Compounding pharmacy experience, and comfort being the name on the operation.
• Fluency with the standards that govern compounding and dispensing, and the discipline to document to them.
• Judgment under regulation. You know where the lines are and you hold them, including when it is inconvenient.

Bonus

• Sterile as well as non-sterile compounding.
• Experience standing up or scaling a compounding operation across states.
• Familiarity with telehealth or direct-to-consumer pharmacy models.
