Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team. You will coordinate the department’s activities to ensure safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care across units including General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology and more.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacist license, a BS in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), hospital experience preferred, and BLS/ACLS is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
  • BS in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification preferred

The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $55.02 to $79.73. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
