Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a per diem pharmacist to coordinate the pharmacy department and ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care for all patients at the Chicago facility.

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, you will support a wide range of services including general medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency, oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient care. A state license and PharmD are preferred, with BLS/ACLS certification advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current state registered pharmacist license.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety.
• Support care across General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Pay Transparency

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $69.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
