Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department and ensure the highest quality pharmaceutical care across hospital services. The role supports the Director of Pharmacy in patient safety and cross-functional collaboration in General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology and more.

Requires current state Pharmacist license, hospital pharmacy experience preferred, and a B.S.

Qualifications

  • Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
  • B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide high quality pharmaceutical care and ensure patient safety across hospital departments.
  • Support supervision of pharmacy staff under the Director of Pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $56.24 to $81.46. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
