Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on days, full-time. The role centers on direct and indirect patient care and requires EMTALA awareness in the ER setting.

You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, coordinate with care teams, and support patient–family communication while maintaining regulatory compliance and excellent care standards. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.
