Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist in Colorado Springs, CO to join a contract assignment with potential to hire. This on-site role requires dispensing medications accurately and counseling patients under applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) verified.
• Active Pharmacist license required.
• On-site work in Colorado Springs, CO.
• Attendance required for the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations.
• Counsel patients on dosing, storage, side effects, and interactions.
• Monitor medication compliance and communicate with providers.
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Prepare compounded medications and sterile solutions (as applicable).
• Support pharmacy workflow and inventory, supervising technicians/clerks.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.

Details and Compensation

• Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907
• Payrate: 65.75/hr
• Availability: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM | possible one Saturday coverage before the end of the year
• Contract type: Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Responsibilities

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with applicable regulations
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosing, storage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Monitor medication compliance and identify potential medication-related concerns; communicate with providers as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Prepare compounded medications and sterile solutions according to proper procedures (as applicable)
• Support oversight of pharmacy workflow and staff (e.g., pharmacy technicians/clerks) and maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care

Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) (verifiable)
• License: Active Pharmacist license issued by a state pharmacy board (required)
• Worksite: Ability to work 100% on-site in Colorado Springs, CO
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
