A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist – Rotating Schedule (1st or 2nd Shift). This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
DETAILS AND COMPENSATION
- Location: Greensburg, PA – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75 or 67.51/hr – based on shift
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 2 Rotating schedules (days vary every 2 weeks)
- Available 1st Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (rotating) (65.75/hr)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and/or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (rotating) (67.51/hr)
- Must be available all 7 days/week
- Every other weekend (Sat & Sun) required
- 2 holidays per year
SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, ensuring safe and appropriate therapy, and providing patient counseling on proper medication use. This role also supports pharmacy operations by maintaining accurate patient records, overseeing inventory practices, and supervising pharmacy support staff as needed. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and standards
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or therapy concerns
- Ensure prescribed medications are appropriate for the patient and intended use
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Counsel patients on medication directions, storage, side effects, and potential interactions; answer medication-related questions
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription products as appropriate
- Educate patients on proper use/handling of common medical devices (as applicable)
- Support compounding and preparation activities per policy/procedure (including sterile prep where applicable)
- Supervise/support pharmacy staff (e.g., technicians/clerks) and promote efficient workflow
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and supplies; identify and communicate drug-related issues to providers/clinical team
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) (verifiable)
- License: Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice (in good standing)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends/holidays as outlined in required availability
