Job summary

SCA Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Training Specialist to design, coordinate, and deliver company training and employee development programs. The role collaborates with leaders, SMEs, Quality, and employees to ensure effective, compliant training that is well-documented and maintained.

The position focuses on developing learning materials, administering LMS activities, tracking progress, and reporting training outcomes to drive continuous improvement in the learner experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in training, Learning & Development, instructional support, training administration, HR development, operations training, or a related field required.
• Experience facilitating instructor-led or virtual training preferred.
• Experience developing or modifying training materials, presentations, job aids, or other learning resources preferred.
• Experience working with an LMS (Paylocity) or other training-record system preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or another regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, onboarding, and other assigned training programs.
• Deliver training using established curriculum, facilitator guides, training materials, and learning objectives.
• Adapt training methods based on learner needs while maintaining established training requirements and content expectations.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and reinforcement to learners during training activities.
• Coordinate and support new-hire onboarding and department-specific training programs.
• Facilitate refresher, remedial, continuing education, and employee development training as assigned.
• Partner with trainers and subject matter experts to support consistent delivery of technical and operational training.
• Develop and update training materials, presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, activities, and other learning resources.
• Translate technical information into clear learning materials with SMEs.
• Maintain training records and monitor completion and qualification progress.
• Support LMS administration including Paylocity and MasterControl.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
