Job summary

BD is seeking a Training Manager to lead the training specialist team and partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and HR to design, deliver, and verify training effectiveness. This role ensures GMP-compliant training records, consistent training across shifts, and remediation of nonconformances with effective CAPA actions.

The position supports the Pharma COE expansion at El Paso and Sandy sites. The ideal candidate will oversee LMS data integrity, develop curricula, and champion a quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, education, or related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing, incl. 3 years in training/quality/curriculum development.
• Minimum 4 years supervising or leading people.
• Hands-on knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP (21 CFR Parts 210/211), 21 CFR Part 11, GDP, and ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Lead training specialists team and partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and HR to design, deliver, and verify training effectiveness.
• Maintain LMS data integrity, curricula mapping, user access, and training records for audits.
• Develop, maintain, and harmonize training content and curricula across multiple sites.
• Onboarding and ongoing qualification to ensure compliance with cGMP and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of training programs, including CAPA actions and effectiveness evidence.
