Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional in Santa Clara, CA, to develop and manage an assigned territory.

You will implement clients’ marketing plans, build relationships with health care providers, and deliver educational and scientific support to influence physicians, practitioners, and nursing staff. You will travel within the territory, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with policies while driving district goals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
• 1–2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Pharmaceutical pain management experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding results.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Leverage audience-specific marketing and sales materials.
• Identify and develop relationships with targeted Health Care providers.
• Plan and prioritize activities to ensure territory coverage.
• Deliver educational and scientific support to inform physicians, practitioners, and nursing staff.
• Identify key influencers and meet customer interaction goals.
• Develop and implement territory plans to achieve market share targets.
• Communicate with peers and management effectively.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Present a professional sales image in all business matters.
• Manage budgets for the territory within guidelines.
• Operate within Compliance Guidelines at all times.
