Croda in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Shift Process Technician to handle production operations, from charging materials to vessel operation and purification of pharmaceutical products, following cGMP and SHE guidelines.

The role requires a BS degree or equivalent, 1 year pharma manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail and teamwork, with a focus on safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent unless previous employment experience indicates aptitude; preferred in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology or related field.
• 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing in a preferred cGMP environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High integrity and reliability.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System in laboratory environment.
• Intermediate math skills and mechanical skills for handling equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team or independently.

Mansioni

• Operate safely and according to cGMP, including startup, shutdown, and emergencies.
• Perform synthesis and purification of pharmaceutical products and document work fully.
• Access electronic procedures regularly and assist in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain PPE usage, safety accountability, and inventory control of reagents.
• Train and perform drum movement, sanitation, and equipment upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/QMS and SOPs, and support QA investigations as SME.
• Transfer waste materials to appropriate collection areas and complete training records.
• Coordinate with QC, R&D, QA, and Management for cross-functional activities.
