Qualifications

• M.S. in organic chemistry or related field (entry-level; academic research preferred) or B.S. in organic chemistry with 1–3 years related experience.
• Ph.D. in organic chemistry or related field (entry-level industry/postdoctoral acceptable) or B.S./M.S. with 3–5 years of related industrial experience (cGMP preferred).
• Ph.D. in organic chemistry or related field with 3–5 years of related industrial experience (cGMP preferred) or B.S./M.S. with 5–8 years of related industrial experience (cGMP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks under direction and mentorship.
• Plan and execute multi-step syntheses from lab to commercialization using DoE/QbD and literature knowledge.
• Lead process development, implementation, transfer support, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across functions; plan and execute experiments, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly.
• Own development, optimization, and scale-up of robust, safe, cost-effective processes in line with cGMP.
• Design, run, and interpret lab and pilot-scale experiments to establish process understanding and CQAs/CPPs.
• Prioritize and manage multiple development projects to meet timelines, quality, and cost targets.
• Act as technical SME in cGMP manufacturing, resolve deviations and implement CAPAs.
• Identify improvements for efficiency, quality, safety, environment, and regulatory compliance.
• Author and maintain GMP docs including SOPs, BPRs, validation protocols, and technical reports.
