Job summary

Par Health is seeking a production operator to join a team responsible for operating and monitoring a chemical manufacturing process. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance (PSM/OSHA), and precise documentation, with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

You will handle equipment, package products, take samples, maintain logs, and support laboratory activities while working in a team-oriented, high-hazard environment. Strong reading, math, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements as stated: high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical degree.
• PSM manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Good communication skills and teamwork in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment following SOPs and PPE.
• Operate reactors, decanters, filters, tanks, centrifuges, dryers, and other equipment via manual control, PLC, and DCS.
• Package, weigh, sample, and label products per procedures and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintain detailed operating reports and logs with measurements and observations.
• Deliver samples to laboratory and retrieve supplies from storeroom.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment per procedures.
• Move bulk materials using hoists and material handling devices.
• Recognize unsafe conditions and take appropriate actions to maintain safety.
• Support production to ensure in-spec product and protect equipment from damage.
• Participate in safety and Kaizen events as needed.
