Job summary

Optify Search is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the East Coast pharmaceutical packaging sector. You will manage established customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and provide technical and commercial support across our packaging solutions.

The role involves working with pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract packagers, converters, and suppliers to deliver results and maintain strong customer partnerships. Travel will be 40–60% within the territory.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience within flexible packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, healthcare packaging, medical packaging, specialty films, or related converting markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain, and grow existing pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging accounts across the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract packagers, medical organizations, and related healthcare customers.
• Promote flexible packaging solutions, such as high barrier films, laminates, roll stock, pouches, blister-related materials, and other pharmaceutical packaging formats relevant to the companies portfolio.
• Act as a consultative partner to customers, supporting packaging development, material selection, product specifications, testing requirements and commercial evaluations.
• Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers, procurement teams, packaging engineers, and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, opportunity pipelines, account plans, and activity reports.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, pricing feedback, and territory updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
