Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Specialist I to support the UD Packaging operation in a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing line. You will assist with setup, changeover, and packaging, while maintaining safety and quality in every task.

The role requires teamwork, attention to 6S, and the ability to work 40–60 hours per week on a 7am–7:30pm shift. Candidates should have a high school diploma (technical certificates preferred) and experience with GMP, SAP, and MAXIMO is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong commitment to quality and compliance with site policies.
• Ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs.
• Experience with POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO preferred.
• Understanding of cgmp requirements preferred.
• Physical ability to stand 8-12 hours and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work 40-60 hours per week depending on demand.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EH&S procedures and foster a safety culture.
• Assist in setup of automated packaging equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and line clearances; assist line blowing.
• Operate packaging equipment to produce finished product.
• Perform in-process checks and quality-related tasks.
• Maintain 6S on parts and tooling; escalate issues timely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow schedule.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and adjust for efficiency.
