Job summary

AbbVie’s UD Packaging (B1 Shift) is seeking a Production Specialist I to support setup, changeover and packaging in a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation. You will help maintain safety, quality, and efficiency while collaborating with peers on a finishing line.

Responsibilities include line clearances, operating packaging equipment, performing quality checks, and driving improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Demonstrated focus on quality and compliance with site policies/procedures.
• Ability to communicate issues to engineering/mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Perform housekeeping and line clearances; assist in setup of automated equipment.
• Operate and service automated packaging equipment to produce finished product.
• Conduct in-process checks, sample pulls, and ensure component accountability.
• Support cross-functional teams and communicate improvements to production schedules.
