Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Specialist I for the UD Fill - A2 Night Shift (7pm-7:30am, Sun-Tue and every other Saturday). You will support setup, changeover, and packaging in a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the line.

You will collaborate with peers, maintain a quality-focused environment, and participate in 6S housekeeping and line clearances. Prior aseptic gowning and GMP familiarity are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Aseptic gowning and GMP awareness required.
• Strong troubleshooting and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate issues with engineering/mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Perform housekeeping and line clearances on finishing lines.
• Assist in setup of automated equipment in packaging areas.
• Operate and service automated packaging equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform quality checks and in-process sampling during production runs.
• Maintain 6S of parts and tooling on the floor.
• Escalate safety, quality, and operating issues promptly to the right teams.
• Communicate improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and adjust to improve efficiency.
