Job summary

Civica Rx in Petersburg, VA, seeks a Manufacturing Support Supervisor to lead daily operations and drive compliant manufacturing of high-quality injectables. You will qualify equipment, mentor staff, and own process improvements while ensuring safety, quality, and uninterrupted supply.

On-site schedule is 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM on a 2-2-3 rotation. Your background includes a strong GMP manufacturing track record, leadership, and experience with autoclaves, CIP, and MTIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in a cGMP FDA/regulated production environment.
• Experience with Autoclaves and Parts Washers.
• 1+ years supervisory experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience in process improvement, change management, leading teams.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Self-directed with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new equipment and process qualifications under direction.
• Act as SME in manufacturing processes including autoclaves and CIP.
• Escalation point for group; own business, technical, and compliance decisions.
• Maintain inspection readiness and serve as SME during inspections.
• Ensure staff are trained and qualified for tasks.
• Ensure systems meet quality and supply continuity.
• Develop SOPs, specifications, and governing documents.
• Meet production plans at minimum costs with quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead cost reduction via project management and Lean tools.
• Mentor manufacturing associates in change management techniques.
• Use statistical methods to investigate deviations and root causes.
