Job summary

Civica is seeking a Manufacturing Support Supervisor at our Petersburg, VA site to support daily operations and the timely production of injectable products. You will lead a team of manufacturing associates, qualify new equipment, optimize processes, and develop SOPs to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in a regulated production environment.
• Experience operating Autoclaves and Parts Washers.
• 1+ years of supervision in GMP manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support startup and commercialization of manufacturing operations.
• Hire, develop, and support a team of manufacturing associates.
• Lead equipment qualifications and process improvements.
• Develop SOPs and governing documents for manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, ISO and OSHA standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Mentor staff in change management and project execution.
• Lead CAPA investigations and post-project analysis.
