Job summary

Swift Staffing in Baltimore, MD seeks a Full/Part Time Help Desk Technician to provide tier 1–2 IT support in a pharmaceutical setting. This six‑month contract offers $22.00 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits. On-site schedule with daily hours and a 30‑minute lunch.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, password resets, device setup, and basic hardware support, with escalation as needed and documentation updates.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service mindset are required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Associates Degree in Computer Science is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by phone, email and chat.
• Log, document, and track support requests in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or vendors.
• Support onboarding/offboarding tasks and routine IT tasks.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and update documentation.
