Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. is seeking a versatile General Technician to support fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical environments, and carpentry.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment while ensuring safety and GMP compliance in sensitive settings. Key tasks include routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, preventive maintenance, reading manuals/blueprints, inspecting fire safety systems, carpentry work, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in fire life safety systems.
• 2+ years in pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments.
• Carpentry skills with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of GMP and fire life safety codes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diverse mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and inspection techniques.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire life safety systems.
• Perform carpentry work, including building and repairing structures and fixtures.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and GMP.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
