Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Technician to support operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems in Apex, NC. The role includes on-call rotation, FLS oversight, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant workplaces.

The successful candidate will have GMP-regulated environment experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience in commercial environments.
• Experience with Fire Life Safety systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience supporting critical facility operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient with CMMS systems (Maximo experience preferred).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing coordination, and maintenance support for fire alarm, sprinkler, fire pump, life safety systems.
• Inspect and repair domestic water, plumbing, and fixture systems; troubleshoot leaks, clogs, and valve issues.
• Complete work orders for building maintenance, carpentry, painting, doors, locks, and minor repairs.
• Support GMP-regulated site operations and ensure compliant documentation and change control.
• Respond to facility service requests professionally and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
