Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Facilities Maintenance Department in Round Lake, IL. The role supports plant operations with a focus on mechanical and electrical system issues and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of maintenance experience with boilers, chillers, and air conditioning equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with Maximo and control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school training preferred.
• 4–5 years of maintenance experience with mechanical systems (boilers, chillers, A/C).
• Pharmaceutical industry experience with water for injection preferred.
• Familiarity with hardware/software control systems and Maximo CMMS.
• Strong communication with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance project management for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Develop root-cause solutions to system problems and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and guide shift tasks and passdowns in absence of supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and repair boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water for injection.
• Coordinate shutdowns with other departments to minimize downtime.
