Job summary

Stefanini Group in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 6-month contract to support pharmaceutical operations. You’ll lead maintenance activities, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and ensure PMs and work orders are completed to minimize downtime.

The role requires 4–5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, familiarity with Maximo, and strong communication with plant leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred technical school training and industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a pharmaceutical setting is favored.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance project management for mechanical and electrical system issues.
• Lead in the absence of the Supervisor; participate in Facilities Leadership Team meetings.
• Provide technical training to mechanics at all levels.
• Oversee maintenance projects and coordinate activities of technicians.
• Hire and manage contract labor for small maintenance projects and escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate system shutdowns with other departments to minimize operations impact.
• Perform maintenance activities including PMs, CM's, and EMS using Maximo.
