Job summary

Stefanini Group in Round Lake, IL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Maintenance team. This on-site role supports mechanical and electrical systems, leads shift tasks, and provides supervision in the superintendent's absence.

Qualifications

• Must have 4-5 years of maintenance experience with mechanical systems (boilers, a/c, chillers, air compressors).
• Pharma industry experience with water for injection preferred.
• Experience with client specs and hardware/software control systems desired.
• Experience with PCs including maintenance management systems and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance project management to mechanical and electrical system issues; develop root cause solutions.
• Lead and direct in the absence of Supervisor; participate in Facilities Leadership Team meetings.
• Provide technical expertise and training to mechanics at all levels.
• Oversee maintenance project work and coordinate activities of mechanics.
• Hire and manage contract labor for small maintenance projects; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate system shutdowns with other departments to minimize operational impact.
• Perform maintenance activities including PMs, CMs, and EMs using Maximo.
