Job summary

CBRE is seeking an FM Engineering Ops Manager for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Concord, NC. You will lead a technical maintenance team, oversee three supervisors, and drive maintenance strategy across 1.2 million sq ft of state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

You will manage KPIs, report to site leadership, supervise staff performance and development, and coordinate daily activities while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience, combination of experience and education considered.
• Life Science/Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of CBRE for Facilities Maintenance to the client.
• Mange the overall maintenance strategy for the site.
• Manage three maintenance supervisors over a large maintenance crew supporting 1.2 million square feet of pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
• Responsible for meeting site KPI’s associated with the maintenance program.
• Present to site leadership on performance and improvements for the site.
• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct evaluations and coaching, oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff.
• Set and track deadlines, mentor and coach as needed.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Manage profits and losses of the department.
• Develop goals and initiatives to direct the department’s course.
• Guide managers in implementing company initiatives and policies.
• Evaluate processes and procedures to solve issues.
• Ensure operations follow established procedures and regulatory records are kept.
• Lead by example under CBRE RISE values and influence stakeholders.
