Job summary

Project Farma, part of PerkinElmer, seeks a Construction Manager to lead large‑scale capital projects in a pharma GMP environment in Raleigh, NC. This exempt role requires directing construction teams, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery while coordinating with engineering, controls and related stakeholders.

You will manage a portfolio around $100M, travel domestically, and contribute to asset reliability and site performance through disciplined project controls and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years engineering experience, including at least 5 years managing capital construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical construction practices and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with pharma and biologics packaging facilities, equipment and packaging line installations.
• Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee construction delivery teams, including internal stakeholders and third-party partners.
• Manage scope to ensure safe execution, quality workmanship and functional outcomes with daily field oversight.
• Collaborate with on-site engineering, design teams and project services to hit milestones.
• Monitor progress, address site issues and remove barriers to delivery.
• Review change notices and drive schedule adherence with field teams.
