Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is hiring a Construction Safety Specialist for a long-term pharmaceutical construction project in Marietta, PA. You will promote a safe, compliant, and productive site while collaborating with GCs, contractors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• Experience in fast-paced construction environments.
• Excellent hazard recognition and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety resource for project leadership and contractors.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections, safety audits, and observations.
• Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions and verify resolution.
• Lead Pre-Task Planning, JSAs, permit programs, and investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements.
• Support high-risk activities and maintain safety metrics.
